2 eight oz. pkg. cream cheese - softened
2 6.5 oz cans minced clams, drain one can & reserve the juice of the other. Carefully divide reserved juice and save half.
½ finely minced small Vidalia onion
2 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
6 drops of Tabasco sauce
A sprinkle of garlic powder
4 teaspoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon fine ground white pepper
Using a fork press the cream cheese with the clam juice from the can of clams until smooth. It will use half of the reserved clam juice from the can.
Then add the clams.
Add remaining ingredients and chill for two hours.
Serve with plain ruffled chips.
Dip can be made on day ahead of time, covered and refrigerated until needed.
