ingredients

1 lg. Vidalia onion, sliced

1 large green pepper, diced

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes

2 lbs. ground beef (80/20) or turkey

2 cans cream of mushroom soup, undiluted

1.5 cups finely grated Cabot Hunter’s Seriously Sharp White Cheddar cheese

1 (16 oz.) box elbow macaroni, cooked

1 (16 oz.) can ground peeled tomatoes

1/4 cup Panko bread crumbs

2 Tbsp butter

DIRECTIONS

Sauté onion & green pepper with ground beef. Season with salt & pepper and red pepper flakes.

Mix the mushroom soup undiluted with grated cheese and ground tomatoes. Mix with ground beef mixture and cooked macaroni. Add the mixture to a 9X14 casserole dish that has been greased with cooking spray.

Melt the butter and mix with the crumbs. Sprinkle all over the casserole.

Bake till bubbly, 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
